MY FLAG
NO MORE, NO LESS THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS
My flag is THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES (AS AMENDED). It flies at the pinnacle of my staff and hangs and drapes in my most honored places. The Stars and Stripes symbolize the geographic unity of my country, but THE CONSTITUTION (AS AMENDED) is the JUST and SPIRITUAL superstructure of my nation. It’s THE CONSTITUTION (AS AMENDED) that gives hope and promise even to those who are exploited, oppressed and dis-enfranchised. And it’s THE CONSTITUTION (AS AMENDED) with its safeguards of FREEDOM and LIBERTY that other constitution-writers draw upon for guidance as they develop their own governments.
You can burn and desecrate my flag – THE CONSTITUTION(AS AMENDED), for the right to burn it and desecrate it is protected by it. Other weaker symbols dare not run the risk of desecration, but my flag – THE CONSTITUTION (AS AMENDED) – is such a strong and confident symbol that it can withstand being walked and spat upon, knowing that it so reflects the universal human desire for freedom, justice and liberty that it will endure.
Personally, I would never DIS-respect the symbols that others hold dear: The Stars and Stripes; the Anthem and The Pledge; the Crucifix, The Davidical Star and the Crescent Moon and Star and others – even the Stars and Bars – I’ll not desecrate, for I respect the deepness of their meaning for others, but I know and I hope that others understand that it is my flag – THE CONSTITUTION (AS AMENDED) – that protects their devotions.
So higher up and larger flies my flag – LIVING, AMENDABLE and AMENDED – THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (AS AMENDED).

WE’RE BACK!
Did you wonder where Jess A. and Ima’s introduction went? We got a bit side-tracked and Jess took the time to post some of his pictures. We hope you enjoy viewing and thinking about them.
Meantime, we want to tell you a bit about the PHOOL PHAMILY and their story. The PHOOLS are like most ordinary phamilies — they have their quirks and foibles, if you know what we mean – and with a name like “PHOOL”, what do you expect!
Just so you know here’s a brief sketch of our phamily. JESS A.’s grandpa was JESS B SIMPLE; and JESS A.’s daddy took his mother’s last name (PHOOL); IMA was the granddaughter of MS UNDERSTOOD and MS UNDERSTOOD’s daughter, BEE married REE LEE SERIOUS, so IMA’S maiden name is SERIOUS.
JESS’s daddy is DASTARD LEE PHOOL and his uncle on his daddy’s side is MUSTABENNA and his aunt on his daddy’s side is NOE. (JESS A. and IMA call them UNCLE BEN and AUNT NOE, out of respect because they’ve lived with them off and on for several years and consider themselves a complete part of the PHOOL phamily). JESS A. has two brothers: IBENNA and EUASTA (who married TRIDABEE nee SERIOUS, who is IMA’s sister; and JESS A. has two sisters: EUALLA and WEESA.
IMA has one brother, CAIN B., and two sisters, YUSO and TRIDABEE (who, if you remember), married EUASTA PHOOL). JESS A. married IMA nee SERIOUS and they have two daughters: BEA A. and LILLO; and two sons: C.A. and UNO, who married WANDABEE nee GOODE and those two have twin boys: EUWANNABEE D. and EUGONNABEE D.
I wanted to mention that I ran into the notes I took when JESS and I tried to search for some of our relatives, (you know, following the 21st Century trend of looking up ancestors) so I thought I’d tell you who showed up. We found: NOTTA ; NEVAH BENNA ; LIL ; R.U.A. ; IZZIA ; B.A. ; C.D. ; MUSS B.A. ; SHEESA; REELIA ; OLE ; MISTAH ; IONA ; AND N.E.O. We haven’t quite figured out just who they belong to or where they fit in, but just because of their names we are quite willing to attest to the fact that they are really and truly PHOOLS. … Bye for now, IMA!
